Description

Geotextiles are polypropylene nonwovens belonging to the group of synthetic materials. Its fibres are arranged in a random order, which gives it excellent properties and makes it particularly valuable in many areas of horticulture and construction. Their main advantages are their advanced filtration, drainage and separation capabilities.

Geotextiles have a high tensile strength, which makes them resistant to tearing and puncturing - this is highly dependent on the thickness of the geotextile (expressed in g/m²). They also vary in mechanical strength, porosity and water permeability depending on the type of fibre used and the treatment process (calendering).

The use of geotextiles significantly extends the lifetime of our structures, increases their strength and significantly improves drainage compared to traditional methods.
